Bio

Kiffie is a prolific composer of synth based music from the UK who has made a name for himself as a sensitive, creative and empathetic song writer. 

Since 2021 he has released 20 full albums of original songs covering topics such as friendship, love, political lies, as well as metaphysical concepts about the deep connections between all life and the universe. 

He uses analogies and epic ideas to explore the fringes of our reality and concepts as diverse as betrayal, populism, the soul, and donut price inflation as a metaphor for nostalgia.

His song are sung with deeply human  emotion, whilst his layered melodies take inspiration from music as diverse and folk-revival, classical, hip-hop, nu-metal and traditional music from around the world. 

This is wrapped up in a dedication to a reliance on a few hardware synthesisers and drum machines, piano and guitar.

All of this gives Kiffie's music a warm familiarity whilst still carving a unique sound.

Kiffie believes in growth through experiment and in nurturing a community of mutually supportive artists that learn and grow together. He has collaborated with many people, from Jazz artists to Punk bands and given his time freely to turn other independent artists' musical ideas into workable demos.

Together, Kiffie and his artistic friends have released many collections of music to raise money for causes such as suicide prevention, women's right to choose, homelessness, and refugee rights. 

Kiffie builds communities and works toward a better world with his music and he would like to invite you to join him.
